Ugh! We seem to have escaped with just a little puddle of water in the basement. That looks awful.

Our sump is getting a workout, and the flood waters are receding quickly! Rain is in the forecast for the weekend though…

Heavy rain is supposed to arrive tonight and stay for the next 24 hours.

Scott, As expected, the spring thaw has been quick. Like you, our sump pump has been on overdrive, too. And our back yard is almost completely underwater. The forecasted rain is the last thing we need:(

Hope you’re able to stay dry Debbie, time to batten down the hatches!

I’ve seen some areas that look like that in my neck of the woods, too. A sump pump is a Godsend this year, first time my basement has been dry in a year with so much rain.

I’d hate to think of what it would be like for us without a sump pump. We just replaced our old one.
