    Lovely blooms! Daylilies and coneflowers are definitely my favorites this time of year.

    For some unknown reason, my very large clumps of helenium all died out a couple winters ago and seeing yours reminded me of that situation. I love the Oak Leaf hydrangea, but generally they aren’t bud hardy here… enjoyed your post… Larry

      Thanks Larry! We have seen a little of that in Helenium also, but they are so worth using despite. The Oakleaf is one of my favs!
