      That is Aesculus parviflora Jocelyn, the Bottlebrush Buckeye! Pretty impressive, eh?

    My guess is Aesculus parviflora Walt. – Bottlebrush Buckeye. Very impressive, regardless of taxonomy.

      Wish it was Debbie, wouldn’t that make @katiehoke happy! This is in Elizabeth Park in Hartford, and that is the heater for their greenhouse you see through the opening.
